A bit late to the comment box, but I believe Dr. Dressler's arguments were more persuasive. Great to hear both sides of the issue. Would like to see more of this type of forum with experts covering multiple points of view.

As there appears to be consensus with Dr Koonin’s perspective on Climate Change, a potential topic for debate is why have our Politicians continued to support the Climate Change Initiatives (I.e., Net Zero). In addition to creating a realistic timeline to phase in renewables, I would support an in-depth scientific review of the impact CO2 in the atmosphere has on the Earth’s environment. This review would hopefully be unrestricted and free flowing.

True. However, why is there not a loud cry of resistance from the Public?

I think there is an overwhelming amount of official propaganda out there and majority of the public don't read or view anything but mainstream media. Hence the threat of climate change is backed by "98% of all scientists" and climate change deniers (anybody who does not support rapid moves to "green" energy) are conspiracy theorists equivalent to those that deny the moon landings and those that claim the covid vaccines contain micro chips / chemicals to destroy fertility etc.

I have recently read Alex Epsteins "Fossil Future" and would recommend it if you have not yet read it. Excellent book countering majority of green energy lies.
