As a British born American I always point to the Battle of Britain. Yes the Hurricane and Spitfire pilots did a wonderful job defeating / exhausting the Luftwaffe, but if the latter had simply continued to bomb the British airfields for a few months instead of turning their attention to the major UK cities, the story might have turned out very differently.
There is a sense that something big is approaching, and I dont mean the Russian action in Ukraine. The world seems to be at a tipping point. Whomever makes the most mistakes will be the loser in what transpires moving forward....
