Like your stuff but this was painful to read (made it through a small portion). No mention of Zelenskiii bombing ethnic Russians in the donbas for years which finally triggered putin to END IT. But then again all the old wall street guys like yourself are kind of warmongers with no issue fueling it however u can. Not to mention lapping up propaganda and that's best case scenario...
Zelenskyy (nor Ukrainians) did not bomb civilians in Donbas; that’s what Russians do. Russian-backed separatists started the war in the Donbas region, which was a masked Russian invasion. Russians do missile strikes on civilians on a regular basis. Russians even detonate buildings with peaceful residents in Moscow to fabricate terrorist attacks. This is described in the book “Blowing Up Russia: The Secret Plot to Bring Back KGB Terror” written by A. Litvinenko (who was later poisoned) and historian Yuri Felshtinsky.
What a repulsive piece of blatant propaganda. Implying that the lives of civilians in Ukraine are precious, but civilians in Russian regions are expendable is utterly disgusting. David is conveniently forgetting to mention that Ukrainian forces are deliberately shelling civilian areas, where is no military equipment, just for the purpose of punishing and exterminating "non-compliant" citizens. It doesn't bother him that mentioned Patriot systems and other heavy military hardware are placed in the densely populated residential areas without any regard to the lives of the same civilians he pretend to care about so much. I think his next financial "advice" will be about whoever makes cluster munitions slated to be delivered to Zelensky regime. Business is booming and that's all that matters. Who is counting lost human lives. Not David for sure.
I find your comment very unfair. These remarks are rather factual, and essentially speak of defense. Investing in the arms sector is a choice to be made according to one's values and convictions. Like an environmentalist in renewable energy companies. David just wants to introduce us to his reasoning for investing in LMT.
I would disagree. If not willing to say the truth, and in current political environment it is indeed outright scary, he could've easily framed the investment thesis in some neutral terms. But the choice of words was very specific - "think about Russia’s war in Ukraine with its treatment of civilians as targets to be annihilated without remorse", "even Hitler’s V2 rocket attacks on England were ineffectual compared to the barrages of drones and missiles on civilian sites in Ukraine", etc. All that and many other pieces within this article is a blatant disinformation, deception, lie - whatever you wish to call it. David is a very smart and capable analyst, so I would never believe he doesn't know it. So pretending to be ignorant - "Oh, but that's what they say on CNN and BBC", is not a good excuse either.
That so called apartment block the Russians supposedly shelled was the Academy of the Army which was housing munitions, equipment and AFU personnel. If commenting on the conflict, best not to rely on Western Corporate media. There are plenty of citizen journalists and former US military and former CIA voices with accurate takes of what’s really going on.

You cannot provide proof for your false statement that “Ukrainian forces are deliberately shelling civilian areas, where is no military equipment”.
Pamhr is helping or straight working to proliferate the Kremlin propaganda.
Please have a listen to Retired Col. Douglas Macgregor.
I'm quite sure the chamion is PAC-3 missile producer Lockheed Martin.
Like it or not - War is good for business! That why the U.S.A. Has been at war for the last twenty years.
The truth of it all no doubt lays somewhere in the middle - ‘the fog of war’

Excellent insight into the Patriot system and Raytheon.
