We started this week with a Haymaker Daily on the year’s biggest market news thus far: the out-of-nowhere emergence of Chinese usurper ChatGPT competitor, DeepSeek. It goes without saying, our voice was one of thousands weighing in on the incalculable implications of what Silicon Valley and American tech tycoons in general must be regarding as a conspicuous wrench in the gears.
The past six months or so have served up their share of paradigm-shifting developments, in politics, in the markets, and in those consequential areas in which the two most heavily overlap with one another.
