“Logic: The art of thinking and reasoning in strict accordance with the limitations and incapacities of the human misunderstanding.” -Ambrose Bierce

Hello, Subscribers!

Energy has been a high-priority focal point of this newsletter more or less since the outset. The reasons are as philosophical as they are market-based – while we want to provide all of you with good, actionable high-finance insights, we also want the world’s growing population to enjoy broader prosperity. That second part is only achievable with politically agnostic and technically viable energy policies of the sort you’re unlikely to find in many Western nations these days (though, that is changing… bigly but also belatedly!).

We’ll be proseletyzing on the energy topic (particularly nuclear energy) for years to come, at least until we see the developing world overflowing with micro reactor-generated power and the developed world’s major metropolitan areas similarly rife with said technology. The focus of this piece, however, is what is generally considered a low-hanging-fruit answer to the world’s ever-increasing appetite for accessible and (importantly) reliable energy: natural gas.
